Bobbi Brown Caviar & Rubies Palette

You can stop looking. I've found your dream holiday palette (and it happens to have my name in the title which makes it even better!) Enter the Bobbi Brown Caviar & Rubies palette. Nine pans of pure joy.

With what seems like a new palette being released every day it can be hard to see the forest for the trees so to speak and know where to spend your money. When I received this palette in PR I was so excited, unlike a lot of palettes being released at the moment there is a clear colour story and looking at it I think it's easy to see how you can use the shadows to create different looks.

The colours are also versatile, it's summer in Australia so right now I'm gravitating towards the lighter neutral tones. But come winter that deep burgundy, bronze shimmer and navy blue will be perfect to create more intense eye looks. So personally I think this is a palette you're going to get a lot of use out of and for that reason it is perfect for travel.

Most importantly this palette is chocked full of quality. These shadows are not only pigmented (that black is incredible) but are buttery and bendable. To the point, I think this palette makes you look like your better at makeup than you are because they require next to no work and seamlessly blend on the eye.

For me, the real showstopper is Gilded, the glittery gold colour in the center of the palette. I found it looked beautiful on its own or as a topper over some of the deeper shades like Black Plum & Deep Sapphire.

The packaging is to die for, this palette just oozes luxe and I love the ruby crystal style top. Superficial as this may be I love how this looks on my vanity and I think this would be a gorgeous gift to receive.

The palette is limited edition, so best to get in quickly if you want one for your own. It will set you back AU$125 at which may seem a little dear, but having played with it over the last few weeks I personally think it's worth the money as the quality, ease of use and packaging are all on point.
