Fuji Green Tea Hair Scrub
I have a new obsession when it comes to my hair and it's the Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Scrub from The Body Shop. I was lucky enough to receive this at an event, I didn't really think much of it when I got it but it has totally changed my hair game.
I have suffered from psoriasis on my scalp for as long as I can remember. Having dark hair it's really obvious when it flairs up as you can clearly see the massive flakes of dead skin floating around in my hair (super attractive). I feel like I've tried every treatment under the sun from specialist psoriasis treatments to tar shampoos and your garden variety dandruff shampoos.
The first time I tried the Fuji Green Tea Hair Scrub I wasn't expecting it to do anything to aid my psoriasis, it's not even designed to help dandruff. The actual purpose of this product is designed to purify hair from impurities like styling products and pollution.
After one use all of the dead skin flakes that normally take up residence in my hair was gone. But more than that the constant red itchy irritated skin on my sculpt was calm and actually felt soothed. I put this down to magic ingredients like Japanese green tea, mint menthol, salt crystals and Community Trade honey from Ethiopia.
At $29 for a 240ml tub, I think it's great value too, I like to scoop out about a desert spoons worth mix it with a little water then lather it through my hair making a point of really working it into the scalp. I've been using it once a week for about three weeks now and it looks like I've barely touched it so I can see it lasting me awhile.
For anyone suffering from psoriasis or wanting to get rid of bad dandruff I highly recommend giving the Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Scrub a go. I can't recommend it highly enough.
