My favourite products for travel
Currently I spend three and half days in the Southern Highlands and the other three and half days in the Sydney, so I am travelling a lot! I've been able to work out which products are absolute must-haves in my makeup bag. Here are my top 5 products for travel.
Bobbi Brown Essential 5-in-1 Face Palette $115
This palette is a little on the expensive side, but you do get a colour corrector, concealer, foundation, finishing powder and bronzer included and unlike other all-in-one palettes I've used, all of the products included in this one are amazing.
This palette is compact and sturdy and has everything you need to create the perfect base. The colour corrector is incredible and will make you look alive no matter how little sleep you've had, the foundation and concealer formulas are amazing and the powders look stunning on the skin.
Having to pack only one compact to cover all of my key face products has made my life so much easier. Most importantly I use every single pan in this kit and every product is just a good quality as what you would get in the full size. Plus it comes in nine colour ways so you're sure to find the shades that suit you.
Smashbox Photo Edit Eye Shadow Trios $32
These eyeshadow trios from Smashbox are amazing for travel, they are slimline without skipping on product and can easily be popped into your handbag or even a pocket if needed! The pigmentation on these is fabulous and they will last as long as you do. I particularly like these two colourways to travel with (L: Nudie Pic Medium, R: Pic Me) as they offer me the option for neutral daytime looks but also allow you to go full glam.
Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer $22/$46
When traveling anything in a tube is your friend, I particularly like this primer as it also has a pump. Beyond packaging its a great option when traveling as it's not too matte or too dewy and infused with coconut water, a probiotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers which work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity, and help hydrate. Makeup really does gild on beautifully and I find it does extend the wear. You can get this primer in two sizes 40ml for $46 or the 20ml for $22.
Drunk Elephant Minis $124/$33/$40
Since starting to use Drunk Elephant six month ago, I've noticed a massive difference in my skin and I didn't want my skincare routine to fall by the wayside when traveling so I was really happy to discover they sell these mini sets. There are three options available in Australia including The Littles ($124), Rise and Glow ($33) and Night Bright ($40) This give me the option to pick and chose which items I need and how much I want to spend plus the packaging is extremely travel-friendly.
Glamglow BubbleSheet Mask $13
When traveling a lot your skin really goes through it, I love having a GlamGlow Bubblesheet Hydrating Deep Cleansing Mask on hand for a little pick me up. This mask works in three minutes and makes your skin feel refreshed and glowy. It does what is says on the pack when it comes to removing dirt, excess oils and makeup build up. Plus it includes GlamGlows Green Tea Teaoxi technology and is paraben, sulfate,& phthalate free.
