October Favourites

October Favourites

I really don't know where this year has gone, it's the first of November and it feels like it should only be August. Know what I mean? Anyway I have been trying out so many new products lately and I really want to get back in the habit of doing my monthly favourites. So without further ado, here's what I've been loving in October:

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette

This has pretty much been the only palette on my eyes this month, the shadows are easy to use, blend like a dream and the colour selection is stunning. Even though it's AU$95 from Sephora I think it's totally worth it. You can read my full review on the palette here.

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter

Again something that has been constantly on my face.  I love the formula of these highlighters they are creamy and really melt into the skin without emphasising texture. I have the duo in Lighting Dust & Fire Crystal which is perfect for light to fair skin tones. They have three other colour ways so there is a duo to match everyone. You can read my full review on them here.

L'Oreal Glam Beige Foundation

I feel like this is going to be one of my go-to foundations for the summer. It is extremely lightweight and magically colour shifts to match your undertone - I'm hoping this will come in handy when self-tanning! The only downside about this foundation is the colour selection with only three shades I doubt this is going to work on everyone, especially those of you with darker skin tones. You can read my full review on the foundation here.

Benefit Gimme Brow

Another magic product, sometimes I find when I pencil in my brows (I switch between the Benefit Goof Proof or Precisely My Brow) they look a little blocky. Enter Gimme Brow. Running this bad boy through your brows instantly give them a bit of texture and contrast giving you the illusion of the perfect fluffy eyebrows.

Revlon Colour Stay Creme Eyeshadow

These creme eyeshadows are my secret weapon. Splitting my time between the Southern Highlands and Sydney there are some occasions where I have no choice but to do my makeup on the train at 6:30 am I can literally use my fingers and cover my lid in 705 which is a stunning shimmery pale gold then darken the outer corners with 715 a gorgeous mid-toned matte brown and I'm done. I need these in every colour.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Mascara

Remember that shoe ad where the guy is constantly asking 'got any blacker'??? Well if that is a common question for you when it comes to mascara look no further than Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara. This stuff is the blackest of the black plus it delivers on the ever elusive mascara trifecta of volumising, defining and lengthening your lashes. Hallelujah!

Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick

I love a liquid lipstick as much as the next beauty junkie, but I'm in my thirties and I don't have lip filler so more often than not I end up with butt hole lips - the struggle is REAL! I recently purchased a kit of four mini Huda Beauty Liquid Lipsticks and they have been amazing, lightweight formula, super opaque, long lasting and most importantly not so dry your mouth ends up looking like a cats rear end.

What have you been loving this month?
