Ride or Die Makeup Tag
Last year I loved seeing everyone's Ride Or Die Makeup based of Jaclyn Hill's tag. I thought a great way to finish my Blogmas 12 Days of Christmas posts would be to do my own version of the Ride Or Die tag. I've added in a few categories and split it into four sections: The Perfect Base, Sculpted To Perfection, Eye Dream Of You & Luscious Lips to make it a little easier to digest. As the name suggests these are the products I can't live without and are my absolute go-to's.
The Perfect Base
Primer: Urban Decay Optical Illusion Primer - Fills in pores and give you the smoothest base to apply foundation.
Foundation: La Mer The Foundation - I know this is crazy expensive, but no other foundation makes my skin look as flawless, this formula is something else. I've never had some many comments on how great my skin looks since getting this foundation.
Concealer: Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer - I genuinely prefer this over Tarte Shape Tape, it's full coverage and easy to blend.
Pressed Powder: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Pressed Powder - This sits so beautifully on the face and gives a skin like finish without ever getting cakey.
Loose Powder: Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder - I love this for setting my under eyes and baking it's super finely milled and just sinks into the skin.
Setting Spray: Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Mist - The finest setting spray in the land, keeps your makeup on for longer and is extremely refreshing.
Sculpted to perfection
Contour: KKW Beauty Creme Contour Sticks - You get a tiny amount of product and they're really expensive, but the KKW Beauty Creme Contour Sticks are perfect for me. I use shade light and nothing else blends into my skin as seamlessly.
Bronzer: Marc Jacobs Beauty Omega Bronzer - This bronzer was limited edition and it gives you the most perfect sun-kissed glow. Don't fret, it's coming back next summer.
Blush: Too Faced Love Flush Blush - The perfect amount of pigment these blushes blend easily and stay on all day.
Highlighter: Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter - Since I got this I haven't used another highlighter, the split pans give you the option of a subtle or intense glow and the formula is heavenly
Eye Dream Of You
Brow Pencil: Benefit Precisely My Brow - By far the best brow pencil I've ever used. It give you the perfect pairing of precision and pigment.
Brow Product: Benefit Gimme Brow - This brings life back into my brows, after using a pencil to fill them in a run this through for instant fluffy real looking volume and texture.
Eyeshadow Palette: Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette - I adore this palette, it has everything I need to create endless looks with a variety of finishes and textures plus the shadows blend like a dream.
Eyeliner: Kat Von D Trooper Eyeliner - The blackest, most matte liner on the market. It's budget proof even in the most humid of weather.
Mascara: Benefit Roller Lash - Nothing gives my lashes the length, volume and lift that I get from roller lash.
False Lashes: Adell Demi Wispies - Call me a heathen but I can't tell the difference between $50 or $10 lashes when they're on the eye. I love Adell's Demi Wispies they're affordable, easy to apply and make your lashes look full and fluttery.
Lip Liner: Marc Jacobs Beauty Pout Liner - I don't often wear lip liner, but when I do I use the Marc Jacobs ones. They glide on without tugging and stop bleeds in their tracks.
Lipstick: Cover Girl Katy Kat Matte - Probably the lipstick I've reached for the most this year, I love the formula of these lipsticks. They're really a demi-matte but they last for hours and are super comfortable on the lips.
Liquid Lipstick: Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick - Butthole lips are a thing of the past since I picked up Huda Beauty's liquid lipsticks. They dry down matte, are extremely pigmented and don't completely dry your lips out.
Lip Oil: Lancome Juicy Shaker - My most used lip product of the year. I love these lip oils from Lancome, they give a stunning wash of colour and moisturise your lips at the same time.
